Work Arrangement: Hybrid: You'll work both remote and onsite, where time onsite is based on your job accountabilities and performance objectives.

As ATB's next Managing Director, Strategy Enablement will report to the Vice President, Strategy and Growth. You will be responsible for providing leadership and management for strategy enablement across ATB Business, ATB Wealth and their supporting horizontals to ensure return on investment and achievement of company vision and overall strategy.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and steer the strategic enablement framework and oversees creation of prioritized, sequenced short and long term strategic and operating plans in line with the overall long-term enterprise strategy
  • Supports the executive leadership team in development of strategy and key initiatives
  • Actively partners with embedded strategy partners from Business and Wealth to define strategic synergies and align on strategic priorities
  • Collaborates with the cross-functional teams through discovery to develop a case to proceed with defined benefits realization metrics to enable priority and sequencing decision-making
  • Engages with executive leadership and external expertise to translate research, insights and current state into future state strategies
  • Supports key decisions and planning for subsequent fiscal years; may include future capital and operating investment decisions as well as broader future planning
  • Maintains a real-time view of multi-year strategic roadmaps serves as a core information and resource conduit across impacted teams within and outside of business unit, and works with partners across the enterprise to plan, validate, review, and ensure we are advancing the roadmap

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
  • 10+ years of experience working with executive level leadership
  • PMP certification
  • Strong, proven record of successful people management
  • Ability to nurture talent and build a high performing, motivated team
  • Proven ability to turn the business plan into reality
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders
  • Previous experience in guiding strategic execution is considered an asset
  • Strong customer service focus, with demonstrable experience in building trusted relationships with stakeholders
