The Mechanical Engineer will be based in Saskatoon and will be involved with managing non routine maintenance projects. These projects may include: equipment selection, work planning, commissioning, drawing revisions, equipment file preparation, maintenance plan development with their responsibilities being:

- creating detailed commissioning designs and maintenance plans

- designing maintenance procedures for equipment

- conducting document and reporting procedures as per company policies

- conducting field inspections on equipment to ensure safety and performance

- selection of appropriate equipment by research and comparing specifications

- providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle

- updating technical drawings and schematics

- ability to show extensive technical knowledge regarding boilers and pressure vessels

- working with cross-functional teams and relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• P. Eng designation with APEGS
• 4-9 years of experience in a similar role
• Previous experience with engineering design with a focus on mechanical systems
• Comprehensive knowledge regarding ASME boiler and pressure vessel codes
