The successful candidate will support one of our clients in the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan area (located within Treaty 6 Territory and Homeland of the Metis). The role will be onsite in an underground Potash-mining environment. Preference will be given to candidates living locally.

In this role, you will create drawings from As-built parts and piping/instrumentation designs. Update and organize project drawings to match current designs. Create 3D models of As-built designs, document control for the underground department in the Meridian system and assist the capital project and mine maintenance groups with updates to CAD drawings and continuous improvement projects. Other duties as assigned.

This is an on-site position Monday to Thursday 10 hour days.

Requirements

• 3+ years CAD/drafting experience;
• Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Industrial and/or underground/Potash/mining experience is an asset.
