Work Arrangement: Hybrid: You'll work both remote and onsite, where time onsite is based on your job accountabilities and performance objectives.

We are seeking a highly agile and collaborative individual to join our organization as a Program Manager of Team Member Impact. The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that ATB's employees are informed, inspired and enabled to uplift the causes and communities they care most about. Reporting to the Director, Community Impact, the position is responsible for the end-to-end management of ATB's team member community engagement initiatives in alignment with our social innovation strategy. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of building cause-related team member engagement preferably through a platform such as Benevity as well as strong project management and communication skills, and a passion for creating positive and sustainable social impact.

Responsibilities:

The Program Manager will provide support and facilitation of cause-related team member engagement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive active team member participation in community engagement activities, including employee giving, volunteering, and micro-actions.
  • Management of ATB's team member community engagement platform (ATB Uplift), including strategy development, building and managing operations, overseeing training initiatives, and fostering a strong relationship with our vendor(s).
  • In coordination with the Program Manager, Community Partnerships, lead strategies to enhance employer-supported volunteerism.
  • Work with internal stakeholders in order to communicate effectively with team members, serving as a connector and catalyst for their involvement in community support.
  • Manage and measure campaigns, engagement and incentive activities, ensuring successful execution from planning to implementation, while optimizing processes to streamline operations.
  • Work with external vendor(s) in order to manage all back-end processes related to ATB Uplift, ensuring continuous enhancements align with the interests and priorities of our team members.
  • Think strategically and envision new opportunities for community engagement, while paying attention to details to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Demonstrate expertise in corporate citizenship, staying informed about industry trends and continuously expanding knowledge in this field.
  • Adapt and learn new technologies as needed to support the effective selection, utilization and management of ATB's team member engagement platform.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years proven experience in program management, cause marketing, team member engagement or related fields
  • Experience with a team-engagement program leveraging technology such as Benevity's Spark
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record in overseeing complex projects and multiple priorities to meet deadlines
  • Strong marketing acumen with a strategic mindset for problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and agility in response to changing priorities
  • Developed writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, integrity with confidential information, organizational skills, strong independent project management, and ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and flexibility
  • Knowledge of social issues and experience working with the social purpose sector
  • Experience growing employer-supported volunteerism within a company an asset
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive in a fluid, entrepreneurial environment; willingness to "roll up one's sleeves" and extend beyond formal responsibilities based on the needs of the work
  • Degree in a related field such as business, public relations, communications, marketing or related field or equivalent experience
