Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated light duty cleaner to join us at our recreational studio for children. As a light duty cleaner in our space you will primarily be responsible for ensuring the space is clean and safe while ensuring the well-being of the babies/children. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

Duties:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility at all times

- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture

-Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances

-Pick up debris and empty trash containers

-Clean bathrooms & all touch points regularly

-Assist other staff members with planning/ organizing activities for babies/toddlers/children

- Supervise and monitor children's activities at all times
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Assist with light meal preparation
- Change diapers and assist with toilet usage as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members

- Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children

Skills:
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Driver's license is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
