Moncton Counselling and Wellness is looking to add another independent therapist to our team. This would be an in-person position at our Moncton location.


Are you passionate about helping individuals lead happier, healthier lives? Do you have a strong background in mental health counselling? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Mental Health Therapist at our well-established Moncton Clinic.


Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized mental health counselling and therapy services to clients of all ages, backgrounds, and needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify mental health conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with clients.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate positive change and growth.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Offer psychoeducation and support to clients and their families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions and progress.


Requirements:
- Master's degree in counselling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate provincial licensing board/association.
- Previous experience in providing mental health counselling services is preferred.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, compassion, and a client-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
