Job Opportunity: Business Growth Executive (permanent)
The Business Growth team assists with building capacity to support growth and productivity of Nova Scotia's start-ups and small to medium-sized export-oriented businesses.
The Business Growth Executive manages the development and delivery of programs that support research commercialization and help businesses leverage Nova Scotia's research expertise to increase productivity and innovation. Exhibiting agile project planning, program management, and teambuilding skills, the Business Growth Executive leads the overall management of the Productivity and Innovation Voucher Program (PIVP) and the Early-Stage Commercialization Fund (ESCF) program as well as the relationships with participating academic and affiliated research institutions.
In this role, the successful candidate will:
Education/ Professional Experience:
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in business with a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in the private and/or public sector in a client-partner engagement, project planning, business advisory or related role. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
