JOB TYPE: Permanent part-time

SCHEDULE: Day, Evening, Weekend, On Call, Rotation, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essential

The incumbent ensures that the nutritional choices match the patient's dietary profile, conducts surveys on patient satisfaction with their meals, creates and compiles reports on menu options for each meal, and helps patients with their menu selections.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Secondary school diploma plus additional courses of up to six months in length that include computer and keyboarding training, or equivalent;
• Relevant experience in a hospital food service, an asset;
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and of software commonly used within the Network (Meditech, menu management application);
• Proven ability to perform assigned tasks quickly;
• Good verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
• Good work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
