Job Title: AZ Linehaul Driver
Location: Kingston, ON
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
Overtime: After 50 hours
Positions Available: 2

Available Shifts:

• Position 1: Sunday to Friday, start times between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• Position 2: Monday to Saturday, start times between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

The AZ Linehaul Driver will be responsible for completing dedicated linehaul routes from the Kingston terminal to various destinations throughout Ontario and Quebec. Routes include Montreal, Longueuil, Granby, Ottawa, the Greater Toronto Area, and surrounding locations.

This position involves dock-to-dock transportation, safely operating commercial vehicles, completing required delivery documentation, and maintaining communication with dispatch and terminal staff.

Responsibilities:

• Complete dedicated linehaul routes throughout Ontario and Quebec
• Safely operate AZ commercial vehicles in accordance with transportation regulations
• Complete dock-to-dock deliveries, trailer pickups, and drop-offs as assigned
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery paperwork, and transportation documentation
• Communicate with dispatch and terminal staff regarding deliveries, delays, or operational concerns
• Ensure freight and equipment are handled safely during transportation
• Follow company safety procedures and transportation requirements
• Perform other related driving duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid AZ driver's licence required
• Minimum 1.5 years of verifiable AZ driving experience
• Current driver's abstract and CVOR required
• Comfortable completing regional and highway routes throughout Ontario and Quebec
• Able to follow transportation regulations and maintain accurate driving documentation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Able to work independently and follow assigned routes and schedules
• Must successfully complete a road test and required company training

Training and Onboarding:

• Selected candidates will complete a road test at the Kingston terminal
• Successful candidates will complete approximately 5 hours of online training, followed by an orientation
• Drivers will then complete on-road training with an assigned experienced driver to become familiar with routes, locations, and paperwork
