What you will do:
Reporting to the Director of Early Childhood Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the director in carrying out the mandate of the team: providing high-quality integrated services supporting children`s holistic development to promote positive and enriching experiences.
The major responsibilities of the position are:
- Support the director in their duties.
- Take part in supervising, supporting, and evaluating the performance of employees.
- Take part in managing human, financial, and material resources for the team.
- Provide for the development of various early childhood initiatives and programs.
- Maintain a close partnership and connection between the various partners providing services to families with preschool-age children.
- Participate in the monitoring of the Early Intervention Program.
- Participate in various committees as an early childhood representative.
- Other related duties.
Who you are:
- You have a thorough knowledge of the early childhood sector.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills.
- You have the ability to analyze early childhood inclusive education practices with attention to outcomes to provide support in order to reduce gaps and thus improve the quality of services provided.
- You have the ability to adapt to change quickly.
- You have a history of effective teamwork and promoting a positive attitude in the workplace.
- You are able to facilitate groups, virtually or face to face.
- You can provide individual support.
Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:
Required Competencies:
- Bachelor`s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Minimum of (6) six years` experience in early learning and childcare, early family intervention, autism services or a related field and 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years` experience in human resources management.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Creative approach to problem solving.
Written and spoken competence in French is required. Please state your language capability.

Wage:
Pay Band 6: $79,716 - $106,054 annually.
Work environment:
- Office location: in the ¿District scolaire francophone Nord-Ouest¿region.
- Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:15AM - 4:30PM.
