In this role, you will:
- Support in developing and implementation of strategic and accountability reporting portfolios for Humanitarian Services, including base monitoring metrics/KPIs.
- Ensure strategic reporting elements and accountability mechanisms are embedded in Humanitarian Services projects and emergency response plans.
- Increase transparency with CRC partners through consistent and timely reporting against CRC strategic commitments.
- Support operational and program planning through the assessment and analysis of needs and define processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in reporting mechanisms.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of impact measurement strategies/frameworks.
- Provide insight on industry best practices within the humanitarian sector for impact reporting solutions, including data automation and analysis.
- Support internal communications for Humanitarian Services.
- Ensure adherence to established processes and procedures, proactively identifying opportunities for enhancement and escalating systemic challenges as needed.
- Ensure coordination between different stakeholders and support planning and execution of service approach, methodology and processes.
- Share specialized knowledge and provide practical support to colleagues to strengthen collective
understanding and effective delivery of outputs.
What we are looking for:
- A minimum of a minimum of 4-7 years of experience and a 3-year college diploma or university degree and/or an
equivalent combination of education and experience in planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting. - Information and data management skills, including information collection, monitoring and tracking tools, running database queries
- Skills and experience in business analysis and business process mapping
- Experience working with stakeholders to define and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPI), outputs and outcomes.
- Experience in developing tools and processes, providing technical support and quality assurance, and facilitating learning.
- Strong communication and writing skills; including grammar, editing and formatting documents
- Proficient in Microsoft software applications, including: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Forms
- Fluency in English is required; French is an asset.
Working Conditions:
- Duties are conducted virtually and in person, and position can be located anywhere in Canada; however travel to other regions in Canada or abroad may be required.
- The job may require working non-traditional hours and the performance of on-call duty during major disasters.
- Will be required to work extended hours during peak periods on short notice.
- Work requires the ability to work to multiple, conflicting deadlines.
- Work requires interactions with clients who may be agitated, or are experiencing stressful situations.
- The majority of the work is performed in an environment which is mostly clean and comfortable; field assignments can involve working in environments that are unstable and with unpredictable access to basic services.
