The New Brunswick Legal Aid Services Commission (NBLASC) is seeking individuals to join the Criminal Law Services Branch as a Legal Administrative Assistant in the Saint John Regional office.

What you will do:
As a Legal Administrative Assistant your responsibility will be providing administrative support services including, but will not be limited to:
- Coordinate and assign duty counsel schedule;
- Complete checklists for new files;
- Draft and send written correspondence to clients;
- Request, send, and receive disclosure;
- Manage client case files, schedules, and bring forward system;
- Prepare and coordinate archiving;
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, lawyers, court staff, policing agencies, etc. including answering phone calls and emails;
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned.
Need to have (Essential qualifications and skills):
Completion of post-secondary training in a related field;
A minimum of 4 years of related experience;
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

Wage:
Salary and benefits will be commensurate with skill level and experience:
$2,008 - $2,439 biweekly - NBLASC CUPE Admin 2 pay scale
