The University of Fredericton (UFred), a recognized degree-granting institution in the Province of New Brunswick and ACBSP-accredited, is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach Finance courses in our Accelerated MBA (AMBA) program.

Our programs are delivered fully online and are designed for working professionals seeking flexible, high-quality graduate business education.

Responsibilities

Teaching Areas

We are particularly interested in faculty with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Financial Management and Managerial Finance
  • Corporate Finance
  • Financial and Managerial Accounting
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • PhD or DBA from a recognized Canadian university, with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years of post-secondary teaching experience
  • Demonstrated academic and/or professional expertise in Finance
  • Ability to connect finance theory with contemporary business practice and managerial decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree from an AACSB- or ACBSP-accredited business school
  • Online teaching experience in Canadian or U.S. higher education, particularly with MBA or executive learners
  • Relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, investment management, financial analysis, or consulting
  • Experience with curriculum development, AI-enabled learning, or experiential learning
  • Canadian CPA designation considered an asset
  • CFA designation considered an asset

Course Format

  • AMBA courses are 7 weeks in duration.
  • Courses are delivered fully online throughout the year
  • Courses include synchronous online instruction
