Under the immediate authority of the Manager of the Integrated Health and Community Services Network in Dieppe, the incumbent's responsibilities may include providing management support, approving payroll and employee requests, as well as coordinating and managing equipment and access requests. The incumbent provides support with performance appraisals, attendance management, the performance management process, and the improvement of quality and safety in primary health care through the development of policies and procedures and participation in accreditation activities. The incumbent also works very closely with the Manager of the Integrated Health and Community Services Network – Dieppe to support the development and optimal operation of the integrated services network in the Dieppe area by supporting the operational management of the referral centre and local family health teams. The incumbent may be assigned other duties and responsibilities based on operational needs.
EXIGENCES:

  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to health administration, health or another relevant field;
  • Minimum Three (3) years' experience in the health field;
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of primary health care, an asset;
  • Experience in implementing and monitoring policies and programs/initiatives as well as in evaluation, an asset;
  • Extensive experience managing human and financial resources and information in general, an asset;
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and other software applications used within the Network;
  • Ease forging internal and external partnerships thanks to their ability to bring people together;
  • Good sense of leadership and good communication skills;
  • Collaborative attitude;
  • Good problem-solving and planning skills;
  • Ability to function with ease in a changing environment and strong aptitude for implementing change management strategies;
  • Availability to travel within Vitalité Health Network's territory;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, Vitalité Health Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Adherence to Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.
