Join Our Team as a Product Manager, Destination at Atlantic Lottery!

In this role, you'll lead the strategy, roadmap, and performance of products and experiences within Atlantic Lottery's Destination portfolio. You'll leverage customer insights, player behaviour, market trends, operational knowledge, and data-driven decision making to identify opportunities, enhance player experiences, optimize portfolio performance and deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.

Working closely with teams across Product, Marketing, Technology, Analytics, Operations, and external partners, you'll guide products through their full lifecycle, from concept and planning to launch and ongoing optimization. This role is ideal for a strategic, collaborative, and results-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, aligning diverse stakeholders, and delivering value through strategic product leadership.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and plans that support player engagement, business growth, and organizational objectives.
  • Own the full product lifecycle, from opportunity identification and planning through launch, optimization, and ongoing performance evaluation.
  • Use customer insights, player data, industry trends, and market research to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including product and financial performance, using data and analytics to measure success, identify opportunities, and prioritize improvements.
  • Develop business cases and recommendations for product, technology, and capital investments based on expected customer and business outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives by partnering with Technology, Marketing, Analytics, Operations, vendors, and external stakeholders to deliver product outcomes.
  • Balance customer needs, business objectives, operational considerations, Healthy Play, and regulatory requirements when making product recommendations and prioritization decisions.
  • Build alignment across business, technology, operations, marketing, analytics, and external partners by communicating product priorities, performance, opportunities, and strategic direction.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, brand management, digital product delivery, gaming, eCommerce, or another customer-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, and business plans while delivering measurable business results.
  • Experience using customer insights, data, and analytics to make strategic business decisions.
  • Experience leading multiple initiatives and influencing outcomes across cross-functional teams.
  • Must be 19 years of age or older and reside in Atlantic Canada.

  • Experience working with digital platforms, customer experience initiatives, or omnichannel products.
  • Experience in gaming, hospitality, entertainment, retail, financial services, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and technology-enabled product development.

Work Location & Flexibility

This role may be based out of one of our Atlantic Canadian offices: Moncton, NB; Halifax, NS; or St. John's, NL. Moncton is preferred for onboarding.

  • During probation: Full-time, in-office (Moncton preferred for onboarding)
  • After probation: Choice of full-time in-office or hybrid (2-3 days per week onsite)

Compensation

  • Salary Band: $75,200 - $122,200
  • Candidates can expect to start around $79,900, with placement dependent on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity

Recruitment Process

Role Commitment

To support employee development, business continuity, and knowledge transfer, individuals who accept this position are expected to remain in the role for a minimum of 18 months before being eligible to apply for or transfer to another position within Atlantic Lottery.

This expectation applies to both external hires and employees moving into the role from another position.

Internal Candidates

Internal applicants must be in good standing, including meeting expectations on their most recent performance review, and must not be on probation. Consideration may also include factors such as performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, attendance, and completion of mandatory training.

A Predictive Index (PI) assessment will be completed or shared with the hiring leader as part of the evaluation process.

For internal recruitment processes, preference may be given to employees currently occupying regular or term positions with AL. Selection decisions will consider business needs, approved staffing requirements, organizational headcount parameters, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
