Greenhouse Associate - Full time

Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

Pay Rate: $17.60/hour | $17.95/hour starting October 1st, 2026

Shift: Full-time | Day Shift | 40-50 hours/week

• Monday to Saturday, Saturday Availability required.
• Approximately 8-10 hour shifts.

About the Role
Our client is a growing agricultural operation specializing in the cultivation, harvesting, and packaging of premium mushrooms for commercial distribution. We're looking for individuals to join the team as soon as possible. This is a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Harvest mushrooms and assist with crop maintenance
• Sort, pack, label, and prepare products for shipment
• Prepare customer orders
• Load, unload, and move materials
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe production areas
• Follow all food safety, quality control, and health & safety procedures
• Perform additional general labour and production duties as required

What We're Looking For

• Valid G or G2 class license and own personal vehicle REQUIRED - the site is not accessible via public transit.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a steady pace
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Comfortable performing repetitive bending, reaching, lifting, and other physical tasks
• Ability to safely lift and move materials
• Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures including freezer and humid temperatures.

Successful candidates may have the opportunity to transition to permanent employment based on attendance, performance, and business needs.

This position is classified as agricultural work under Ontario Employment Standards and is subject to the applicable provisions of the Employment Standards Act.
