In this role you will:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the daily operations including scheduling appointments, managing calendars,making travel arrangements, and preparing reports and managing program/service documents.
  • Assist in preparing materials for events and meetings, including booking venues, preparing agendas, distributing materials, and taking minutes.
  • Manage information and data, including maintaining files and records, updating databases, and generating reports.
  • Establish rapport and credibility by creating a positive experience with internal and/or external clients/partners.
  • Provide client support and act as a resource for resolving issues and answering questions related to program or service
    processes.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of processes and workflows to optimize efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of new initiatives and best practices to improve client outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives, providing support and assistance as required

We are looking for:

  • Qualifications include a minimum of 1-2 years experience and a 1-2 year college diploma or post-secondary certification and/oran equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in standard computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to apply standard methods, and select amongst options to resolve routine problems.
  • Ability to communicate and influence by clarifying policies, processes, and services effectively.
  • Ability to focus on client satisfaction and ensure that the services meet the clients' expectations

Working Conditions:

  • Will be working primarily in an office environment.
  • While in response domestic travel in generally safe environments.
  • Some travel by vehicle may be required.
  • As we work with and support people (managers, colleagues, beneficiaries/customers, volunteers, donors and external partners) and communities in Canada and around the world, applicants whose first language is not English may be required to perform the responsibilities of the role in English.
