SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent oversees and coordinates laboratory services for the zone. Their role includes planning; human resources management, material, and financial resources; managing various projects and risks; and implementing the quality program in collaboration with the regional quality team. Additionally, they contribute at the regional level to implementing activities required to meet the priority objectives of the Vitalité Health Network's strategic plan, as well as projects aimed at optimizing laboratory services.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Diploma from a recognized medical laboratory technology school or a Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science;
• Member in good standing of the Association of Medical Laboratory Technologists of New Brunswick (ATLMNB);
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a laboratory setting;
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in staff supervision / management with strong coaching skills;
• Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and other software used within the Network;
• Knowledge of laboratory service policies and procedures;
• Ability to use evidence-based data in decision-making;
• Mobilization, engagement, and support in change management;
• Effective interpersonal and organizational communication skills;
• Sense of responsibility, decision-making skills, and the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize assigned tasks;
• Participative leadership that fosters teamwork, engagement, and accountability;
• Willingness to travel within the zone and the Network;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
• Good work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
