Job Title: Machine Operator
Shift Times: Days, Afternoons, OR Nights, Not Rotating.
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Hamilton ON.
We are hiring Machine Operators for our client's production facility in Hamilton. Associates will be feeding, loading, or completing inspections on parts. Operating cutting, press, or bottling machinery (training is provided). Candidates must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Continuously load parts into the designated hopper.
- Perform repetitive bending and lifting of materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Inspect raw materials and finished machined components to ensure quality standards are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and customer specifications accurately.
- Adhere to all workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with additional general labour and production duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in similar industrial role required (machine operating, general labour, etc.)
- Must be comfortable lifting 50lbs repetitively
- Strong attention to detail required
- Comfortable working in a warm environment
- Ability to communicate and take direction well from others
- Willing to provide Criminal Record Check
