Delivery Driver 75201

Sohi Logistics is hiring a permanent, full-time Delivery Truck Driver for our bread and food product distribution operations in Coley's Point South, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Employment Details

• Permanent, full-time position
• 30-40 hours per week
• $18.00 per hour
• Early morning and morning shifts
• Weekend work and overtime may be required
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Work is performed on site
• Free parking available

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver products
• Load and unload goods
• Deliver and sell products over established routes
• Assemble, set up and merchandise products at customer locations
• Prepare, package and restock goods
• Maintain records of products received and delivered
• Accept payments or invoices for delivered products when required
• Handle and authorize product returns
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain professional communication with customers

Requirements

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence
• Driver's abstract required
• Criminal record check required
• Organized, punctual and reliable
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and handle heavy loads
• Steel-toed safety boots
• Cellular phone
