The Sales Associate, Investments works closely with the Wholesaler / Business Development Director (BDD) to achieve the territory's sales objectives, strengthen advisor relationships, develop new business opportunities, and support the execution of the territory business plan.
This is a proactive role focused on sales growth and relationship management. The incumbent contributes to generating new business opportunities, growing the sales pipeline, and delivering an exceptional advisor experience and high-quality service. They also help increase the company's visibility and support business growth within their territory.
This position is fully remote and primarily supports the Quebec market. Candidates may be based in either Quebec City or Montreal.
- Support the Business Development Director (BDD) in achieving sales objectives and executing the territory business plan.
- Drive sales growth by generating new business opportunities, prospecting new advisors, and strengthening existing relationships.
- Provide exceptional consultative support to financial advisors and serve as a key resource for product, process, and sales tool inquiries.
- Manage sales activities, advisor relationships, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver an outstanding advisor experience.
- Support advisor development initiatives through the coordination of training sessions, events, and marketing activities.
- College diploma or university degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services and investment industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the internal or external sales of investment products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Strong sales orientation and ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
- Proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on achieving objectives.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough follow-up.
- Collaborative mindset, initiative, and strong sense of accountability.
- Excellent advisor service, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
