Job Title: Truck Helper / General Labourer
Location: Elmsdale, NS
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to approximately 4:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m.
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

The Truck Helper / General Labourer will assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials from delivery trucks. This role involves handling heavy items such as doors, windows, and other materials while supporting daily delivery and truck-related duties.

This position is physically active and requires someone who is reliable, punctual, and comfortable performing repetitive lifting and general labour tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload items from delivery trucks safely and efficiently
• Move and handle heavy materials, including doors, windows, and other products
• Assist drivers and team members with truck-related duties as required
• Handle materials carefully to prevent damage during loading, unloading, and delivery
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow company safety procedures and site instructions
• Perform other general labour duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more as required
• Comfortable with repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and physical labour throughout the shift
• Previous general labour, warehouse, moving, or delivery helper experience considered an asset
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• CSA-approved safety footwear required
