Summary:
The Front Desk Concierge plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for condominium residents in Toronto, Ontario. This entry-level position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, managing resident inquiries, and maintaining security protocols. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively address the needs of residents and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies and clarifies residents' needs and desires; answers questions; gives directions and instructions; develops inventories of services.
- Manages and screens messages.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Assists in investigations and tape/log reviews for any unusual incidents.
- Helps Property Manager with special requests, including administrative work and mailings.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
- Monitors the Emergency Response System.
- Greets and directs residents, guests, and invitees.
- Monitors and controls Electronic Security Control Systems.
- Responds to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner within 2 hours of notification.
- Monitors and controls access to the building.
- Maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
- Resolves and follows up on all complaints/issues.
- Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
- Improves services by obtaining and evaluating resident observations, opinions, and criticisms.
- Maintains guest privacy and organizational reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
- Enhances department and organizational reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Follows safety and access control procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Ontario Security Licence.
- Must have a valid CPR & First Aid Certificate.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic knowledge of security systems and emergency response protocols.
