These positions will report to the Provincial Director of Patient Experience and Service Excellence within the Provincial Quality, Risk Management, and Accreditation Program. The incumbent will work with other members of the Provincial Quality, Risk Management, and Accreditation team and employees at all levels within Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services (NLHS). The incumbent will function with independence and accountability within the mandate, vision and values of NLHS.

Qualifications:

• 3 Year Post Secondary Diploma in Business Administration or health-related discipline.
• Education and/or experience in the areas of Patient Feedback, Patient Safety & Quality, and People Centered Care.
• Effective interpersonal, organizational time management, and communications skills.
• The ability to effectively function in a team environment to form and maintain strong working relationships.
• Strong leadership abilities, facilitation skills, initiative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
• If the successful applicant is external to NLHS they will be required to submit a satisfactory certificate of conduct.

Preferred qualifications:
• Completion of Indigenous cultural safety training.

Duties: (Included but not limited to)

• Support the management of the feedback process through communication, inquiry, response, and documentation.
• Functions as an Intake Clerk with the Provincial Patient Relations Office.
• Ensure that avenues for patient feedback are accessible, that feedback is addressed in a timely, appropriate, and respectful manner.
• Facilitate the processing and communication of compliments received as an integral means of acknowledging service excellence within NLHS.
• Collaborate closely with the Patient Relations Data Entry Clerk and Managers, Risk Managers, Quality Managers, and NLHS Leadership as a whole.

• Other related duties as required.
