As a member of the Mechanical Maintenance team at Mactaquac Generating Station, the Maintenance Tradesworker performs preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the station.

Key functions include:

• Measure and inspect turbines and generators to ensure proper operating clearances, making adjustments as needed to maintain safe tolerances.
• Maintain and repair plant equipment, including compressors, fishway systems, cranes, and other common mechanical assets.
• Maintain and service tools and shop equipment, including drills, lathes, milling machines, welders, and related machinery.

Our ideal teammate will have:

• Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) CQ
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• New Brunswick Qualified F4 Welding License

An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.

An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
