About Accel Property Group
Accel Property Group is a Moncton-based real estate investment, development, construction, and property management company. We own and operate a growing portfolio of multi-family, self-storage facilities, and commercial properties across New Brunswick. We have an active team managing multi-family buildings and commercial properties from our own portfolio - and it's growing! The Property Manager will work closely with ownership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the portfolio.
The Role
We're looking for a motivated and experienced Property Manager to join our team. You'll oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of multi-family, commercial, and self-storage properties, covering leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, compliance, and oversight of part-time staff and contractors, along with regular reporting to ownership. This also includes leading the lease-up of newly developed apartment buildings.
We recognize that many tenant interactions and showings take place outside of traditional office hours. To support this, the role offers a flexible schedule, giving you the freedom to adjust your workday and take time off during regular hours when needed, while still meeting the demands of evenings and weekends when required.
This new position comes at an exciting time for APG as we continue to grow quickly, and with that growth comes real potential to gain knowledge and take on increasing responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Leasing & Marketing
- Lead leasing and marketing efforts for new apartment, commercial and self-storage buildings to achieve timely lease-up and stable occupancy
- Lead development of marketing materials, listings, and advertising strategies to support leasing efforts
- Provide oversight of contractors and other staff to support leasing of newly developed apartment buildings
- Self-Storage Operations
- Book and onboard new self-storage clients, process rental agreements, and manage unit availability
- Respond to tenant inquiries and handle billing and payment matters for self-storage clients
- Tenant Relations & Compliance
- Manage all aspects of the tenant lifecycle: applications, move-ins/move-outs, renewals, rent collection, arrears, and ensure compliance with NB tenancy laws and Rentalsman processes
- Oversee security deposit management in compliance with New Brunswick regulations
- Property Operations
- Coordinate and track maintenance requests, vendor scheduling, and unit turnovers
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards
- Provide day-to-day supervision of part-time staff and contractors as needed
- Reporting & Administration
- Maintain organized records for multiple properties and holding entities
- Provide ownership with regular performance reporting (occupancy, arrears, leasing progress, maintenance)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of property management experience
- Experience with property-management software or leasing, familiarity with Yardi software considered an asset
- Bilingual considered an asset
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously
- Strong working knowledge of New Brunswick tenancy laws and Rentalsman procedures
- Proactive, independent, and solutions-oriented, with strong communication skills
- Valid NB driver's license and reliable vehicle
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience
- Performance bonuses: performance-based incentives tied to lease-up success and overall portfolio performance
- Vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement
- Paid time off, extended health and dental benefits
Why this Role
- Immediate impact: step into a hands-on role with real ownership over leasing and day-to-day operations across a fast-growing portfolio.
- Variety and challenge: gain experience across multi-family, commercial, and self-storage properties, from leasing and tenant relations to vendor coordination.
- Professional exposure: work closely with ownership, with direct visibility into portfolio performance, reporting, and decision-making.
