About Brigadoon

Brigadoon Village is a non-profit year-round recreational facility. September through June, the Brigadoon Village Outdoor Education Centre welcomes schools, community organizations, corporate leadership teams and families for custom designed Outdoor Education programs. Our program facilitators deliver arts, leadership, water and land based adventure education programs in all seasons, including snowshoeing, kick-sledding, and broomball in the winter months, canoeing, kayaking, and big canoe programs in the spring and fall.

In July and August, we run an overnight summer camp program specific to children and youth living with chronic health conditions and other life challenges. During the Outdoor Centre season, we welcome our community back to Brigadoon through our Teen and Family camps, expanding the healing power of camp to a wider community, through mixed-condition programs and opportunities.
