JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent will report functionally (day-to-day supervision, work organization, and achievement of operational objectives, etc.) to the Manager of the Office of Integrated Quality Management and administratively/hierarchically (attendance management, performance evaluation, etc.) to the Assistant Director of Integrated Quality Management.

The incumbent will contribute to the sector's success primarily as a consultant and leader in the integrated quality management process, the search for innovative solutions, and change management within learner client programs and other cross-functional sectors. He or she coordinates the Network's accreditation activities and works closely with teams to ensure they meet the required organizational standards and practices. They ensure that quality improvement initiatives are efficient and aligned with the Network's expectations and priorities. They lead work teams according to specific projects. He is also responsible for validating and analyzing data from various sources (e.g., health records, satisfaction surveys, incident reports, accreditation reports, etc.) to identify trends and communicate them through presentations and reports, thereby supporting the organization in its delivery of care and improving the quality and safety of care as well as the experience of patients and families.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in health sciences and/or applied sciences;
  • Master's degree in a related field is a plus;
  • Lean Black Belt or Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt certification may be completed within two years of hire);
  • PMI (Project Management Institute) certification is a plus;
  • Knowledge of the Agile approach is a plus;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement and/or project management, change management, or quality improvement is a plus;
  • Experience in the healthcare field and/or in management is a plus;
  • Excellent proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and others);
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills;
  • Sound judgment, supported by strong listening, analytical, and synthesis skills, as well as strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities;
  • Focused on team collaboration and meeting the needs of clients, partners, and team members;
  • Transformational leadership;
  • Ability to mobilize, engage, and act as an agent of change;
  • Dynamism and creative thinking in performing duties;
  • Ability to travel within the Network's territory and the province;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
