As a Winners and Office Coordinator, you'll play a key role in creating memorable experiences for Atlantic Lottery prize winners. From coordinating prize claims, winner recognition activities, and special events to supporting the day-to-day operations of our new Nova Scotia office, you'll help deliver exceptional experiences for both players and employees.

From coordinating winner celebrations and special events to helping create a welcoming, efficient workplace, you'll help play a key role in delivering memorable experiences for both players and employees. Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Winners Experience

  • Coordinate winner-related activities from prize claim through recognition, celebrations, and player experience initiatives, helping create memorable moments for Atlantic Lottery winners.
  • Coordinate and support winner events, presentations, photo opportunities, and recognition activities that celebrate Atlantic Lottery winners across the region.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for winners, providing exceptional customer service, guidance, and support throughout the winner journey.
  • Partner with teams across the organization to support winner stories, promotions, events, and player engagement activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, scheduling, and records while ensuring compliance with established processes and requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall winner experience.

Office Operations & Administration

  • Support the day-to-day operations of our Nova Scotia office, helping create a welcoming, professional, and efficient workplace.
  • Coordinate meetings, travel, purchasing, facilities-related activities, and workplace services.
  • Act as a liaison with employees, vendors, contractors, and service providers to support office operations and resolve operational requests.
  • Compile reports, support regional initiatives and events, and provide administrative support to a variety of business activities.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, event coordination, administration, communications, marketing support, stakeholder relations, or operational support.
  • Experience providing support to multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A valid driver's license
  • Must be 19 years of age or older and reside in Atlantic Canada.

  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable with public speaking with a group audience for winners' events.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with winners, stakeholders, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Strong judgment and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational needs.
  • Ability to create positive, memorable experiences while delivering exceptional customer service.

Assets:

  • Experience planning and coordinating events, promotions, recognition activities, or public-facing programs.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing programs, initiatives, or service delivery.
  • Experience supporting office operations, facilities coordination, or reception functions.
  • Experience working with budgets, invoicing, expense tracking, or purchase administration.
  • Bilingualism (English/French).

Work Location & Flexibility

  • This role is full-time, in-office and based at our new location in Dartmouth, NS.

Compensation

  • Salary Band: $52,000 - $78,000
  • Candidates can expect to start around $55,250, with placement dependent on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity

Recruitment Process

Role Commitment

To support employee development, business continuity, and knowledge transfer, individuals who accept this position are expected to remain in the role for a minimum of 18 months before being eligible to apply for or transfer to another position within Atlantic Lottery.

This expectation applies to both external hires and employees moving into the role from another position.

Internal Candidates

Internal applicants must be in good standing, including meeting expectations on their most recent performance review, and must not be on probation. Consideration may also include factors such as performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, attendance, and completion of mandatory training.

A Predictive Index (PI) assessment will be completed or shared with the hiring leader as part of the evaluation process.

Eligibility to Work in Canada

Candidates must have all required work permits, visas, and authorizations and be eligible to work in Canada at the time an offer is made. It is the candidate's responsibility to secure these requirements.
