Patient Menu Clerk (1004)

JOB TYPE: Permanent part-time

SCHEDULE: Day, Evening, Weekend, On Call, Rotation, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essential

JOB SUMMARY:

Ensure that the nutritional choices match the patient's dietary profile, conduct surveys on patient satisfaction with their meals, create and compile reports on menu options for each meal, and help patients with their menu selections.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Secondary school diploma or general education diploma (GED) plus additional courses of up to six months in length that include computer and keyboarding training, or equivalent;
• Skills using computer applications (e.g. menu management application, Meditech, Microsoft 365, etc.);
• Proven ability to perform assigned tasks quickly;
• Good verbal communication skills;
• Relevant experience in a hospital food service (an asset);

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
• Good work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
