As a Software Verification Technician/Technologist working within our Engineering division, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills verifying and reporting on the software controlling our world-class products. You will build and run test suites, create automated frameworks, and produce and analyze quantitative quality data for our software.
The responsibilities of the software verification technician/technologist role include:
- Creating and maintaining software test cases;
- Performing and documenting tests on a variety of hardware;
- Ensuring quality standards on test-related documents and processes, as well as developing processes when needed;
- Assisting with product software release.
- Solid understanding of software development;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently;
- Previous software/QA methodology experience an asset;
- Electronic technician/technologist or Computer Science qualification.
