SCHEDULE: Day, Evening, Weekend, On Call, Rotation, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Director of Transition Units and working in collaboration with the Nurse Manager of the Veterans Health Center (VHC), the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting management across all administrative, logistical, and organizational operations of the facility. In a highly complex clinical, organizational, and safety environment, the individual actively contributes to the planning, coordination, and smooth operation of daily activities. They participate in resource management, service coordination, risk management, and maintaining a safe environment for residents, families, and staff. The person in this position serves as a key driver in ensuring structured governance, proactive decision-making, and continuous improvement of practices.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to administration, health care, or a related discipline;
- Management training strongly encouraged;
- A minimum of three (e)3 years of relevant experience in management or coordination, an asset;
- Experience in the health care field, a significant asset;
- Experience supervising/managing staff and strong professional coaching skills;
- Experience in complex or high-intensity operational environments;
- Any other combination of relevant training and experience deemed equivalent
- Previous experience in conflict resolution and performance management in a unionized environment;
- Strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities;
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and support teams;
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills;
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills;
- Resilience and adaptability;
- Strategic thinking and a collaborative approach;
- Initiative and autonomy;
- Ability to use standard IT tools used in the healthcare system;
- Willingness to travel as needed;
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English is required;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
