Job Title: Class 3 Driver

Location: Dieppe, NB

Position Type: Full Time/Temp-to-hire

Shift: Start times range from 2:00am to 5:00am and 9 to 12 hours/day

Wage: $23.10/hour- overtime after 12 hours/day

Job Overview:

A Class 3 Driver operates medium-sized commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, delivery trucks, and utility vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment safely. They perform vehicle inspections, follow traffic regulations, maintain delivery records, and ensure cargo is transported securely and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Sort, inspect, and organize freight to prepare it for loading, ensuring correct labeling and condition
• Make multiple stops per day for pick?ups and drop-offs, confirming delivery addresses and schedules
• Securely load freight onto vehicle, using proper equipment and safety techniques to protect goods
• Plan and execute freight deliveries within an assigned territory, optimizing routes for efficiency
• Complete required paperwork at each stop (e.g. proof of delivery, receipts, logs) and communicate with dispatch or clients about status updates or issues
• Monitor load integrity during transit and adjust as needed to prevent damage or shifting of freight

Job Requirements:

• 2-3 years of current Driving experience
• Previous Hand-Held Scanner experience
• Valid Class 3/5 Drivers License
• Experience in class 3 and 5 ton truck
• Be a min of 25 years old
• Clean Drivers Abstract
• Clear Background check
