We are seeking qualified 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Class Marine Engineers to join our growing team.
Position Summary
Marine Engineers are responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of the vessel's propulsion systems, machinery, and auxiliary equipment. These positions plays a critical role in supporting vessel operations by ensuring all machinery and equipment are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain vessel machinery and engineering systems.
- Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of propulsion, electrical, hydraulic, and auxiliary systems.
- Maintain accurate engineering logs and records.
- Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with vessel crew to ensure safe vessel operations
Qualifications
- Valid Transport Canada Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Class)
- Valid Marine Medical Certificate
- STCW Basic Safety
- Survival Craft and Rescue other than Fast Rescue
- Advanced Fire Fighting
- Marine Advanced First Aid
- Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
