JOB TYPE: Temporary full-time

SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Spoken French and English essential and written French or English

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent is responsible for performing clinical and technical work that involves providing general and complex radiation therapy services to oncology patients. The work involves assisting with treatment planning and the administration of guided radiation therapy.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered with the New Brunswick Association of Medical Radiation Technologists;
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate;
• Proven skills in organization, work management, and prioritization;
• Proven skills in teaching, communication, and interpersonal relations;
• Proven ability to function in a changing work environment;
• Ability to work independently and as a team member;
• Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
• Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
