  • Administering third-party research activities, including RFP development, consultant procurement, contract administration, and oversight of deliverables.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, funders, consultants, and stakeholders across government, industry, academia, Indigenous communities, and community organizations.
  • Coordinating and supporting stakeholder engagement activities that bring together governments, industry, Indigenous partners, researchers, and communities through committees, workshops, webinars, conferences, and other collaborative initiatives.
  • Preparing funding applications, proposals, presentations, briefing materials, and reports for a variety of audiences.
  • Representing Net Zero Atlantic at meetings and events, facilitating discussions and presenting evidence-based information to diverse audiences.
  • Supporting the development of new projects, partnerships, and funding opportunities aligned with Net Zero Atlantic's applied research mandate.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in engineering, science, environmental studies, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in offshore wind or a related sector (offshore energy, marine operations, or ocean industries), combined with project management or consulting experience and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects from proposal through execution, including financial management (budgeting, forecasting, and reporting).
  • Experience coordinating consultants, contractors, or applied research activities.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder engagement and building strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders, including government, industry, academic, Indigenous, and community partners.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
