­Project Assistant

­Key Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for performing support duties such as recording, tracking, attesting and circulating invoices for approval and monitoring the payment of vendor invoices through JDE - Accounts Payable; assisting with monthly accruals and capital project close out activities.­ You will support procurement activities by tracking materials, preparing purchase requisitions and change orders, as required. And will be responsible for database management and performing other technical tasks to ensure that all project support functions are run in an effective and efficient fashion.

­You will be responsible for on-boarding orientation, set-up and coordination of training for employees, students and contractors and oversee floor space requirements of the division. You will perform administrative support duties including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, records management, etc. and initiate, plan and coordinate divisional meetings.­

­What We're Looking For:
You must be organized, with attention to detail, and have the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities. You have good oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships. You can work independently, showing initiative to continually improve your skills and knowledge, but you are also a strong team player.

­What You'll Need:
You've graduated from a recognized office administration program, undergraduate degree or equivalent and have a minimum of two (2)­years experience in an engineering environment. Experience in office management would be an asset.

­You must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, email and calendaring tools, integrating text, graphics, and tables between software packages.­ Must have working knowledge of JD Edwards; specifically financial modules and work order tracking.
