The Corporate Services and Strategic Investments Division supports the department by providing financial, human resources, strategic planning, project support, and information management services. This division also administers several funding programs that support local, regional, environmental and climate priorities. The division is responsible for the development and tracking of the Climate Change Action Plan and management of the Climate Change Fund and the Output Based Pricing System

What will you do?

As a member of the Community Funding Branch, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project reviews, processing financial claims, managing financial records as well as producing various financial reports under the Environmental Trust Fund Program. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a program database and interacting with clients and internal stakeholders on a daily basis. Input towards program improvement is also expected.

Essential qualifications

  • A university degree in business administration, environmental science; or a related field and a minimum of three (3) years related experience.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration. Please ensure that preferred language for assessment is identified on your resume.

Asset Qualifications

Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate one or more of the following asset qualifications:

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel;
  • Data management;
  • Financial management;
  • Good communication skills.

Operational Requirements

Travel throughout the province is required. A valid Class 5 driver¿s license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick is required.

Wage

Pay Band 3: $2,067.00 to $2,889.00 bi-weekly, based on 36.25 hours per week

Work environment

  • Office location: 20 McGloin (Marysville Place), Fredericton.
  • Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:15-4:30 (office schedule)
