Salary: CGHSL29 (CAD30.16 - CAD33.22 per hour) plus applicable Labrador Allowance

Qualification:
Graduation from an approved LPN education program.
Current registration with the NL College of Nurses.
Knowledge of computer skills and an ability to work with Cor Care is an asset.
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
The successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory Certificate of Conduct and vulnerable Sector Check.
Duties: (included but not limited to)
Completes nursing assessment, consistent with scope of practice.
Participates in the development, revision, implementation and evaluation of nursing care plans.
Provides safe, competent, and ethical nursing care and makes decisions within the LPN scope of practice.
Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement. and evaluate patient plan of care.
Practices independently according to professional and organizational| standards.
Documents according to professional and organizational standards.
Maintains competency and updates knowledge by availing of educational opportunities.
Participates in quality assurance/improvement activities.
Represents nursing on various committees such as Nursing Unit Council and other committees as deemed necessary.
Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary team.
Keeps current with changes by monitoring communications (i.e. verbal, e-mail, communication book, etc.).
Administers medication.
Other related duties as required.
