Resource Officer, Staffing and Timecard Management

SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent acts as a resource person, providing the necessary support to users regarding the staffing and timecard management system. They interact with managers, directors, and system users to assist them and respond to their specific needs. The incumbent promotes and delivers ongoing training to ensure the proper use of the system while serving as a liaison between users, Human Resources, Staffing Services, Payroll, the system administrator, and Information Technology. The incumbent participates in the development and implementation of best practices and software upgrades, as well as in the implementation and maintenance of standardized processes across the Vitalité Health Network. From time to time, they may be required to travel within the Network territory to support employees and managers. Additional assignments may be delegated to the incumbent based on the operational needs of Financial Services.

REQUIREMENTS:

• College diploma or university degree in Administration;
• Minimum of two (2) years of practical experience in staffing and timecard administration;
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other software applications used within the Network;
• General knowledge of the applicable collective agreements;
• Ability to deliver group training sessions;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities and work within tight deadlines;
• Customer service orientation with strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently and as a team member;
• Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
• Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
