Food Service Worker: The primary purpose of this position is to support the Cook and Baker in the production and delivery of high quality meals and baked goods to Residents for their daily nutrition, health and enjoyment.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Portion and plate and serve meals. Prepare coffee, tea, snacks and serve to Residents in households as assigned.

Complete post meal clean-up as required (dining room and kitchen area) in assigned households. (Clean/clear tables, clean kitchen counters, load/wash dishes in dishwasher, sweep/ wet mop floors as necessary or as per guidelines)

Prepare leftover food (label and date) for storage in households or for return to Central Kitchen. Collect and return food trolleys to Central Kitchen.

Assist CCAs with collection of cups, dishes and after meal clean-up in Resident Households (clean/clear table; load/wash dishes in dishwasher) as time permits.

Sweep and wet mop kitchen and dining areas of each Household daily

Clean household cupboards, inside and out, monthly

Assist Cook and Baker with daily cleaning duties as assigned by Director of Support Services

Job Types: Casual, Permanent, Part-time, Full-time

Pay: CA$18.47-CA$18.77 per hour
