Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages and providing excellent customer service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and serve coffee beverages following recipes
• Operate espresso machines and other equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy
• Provide recommendations on coffee selections based on customer preferences

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn about different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
