The Opportunity:

We are seeking a CIS Administrator to support and optimize EfficiencyOne's Customer Information System (CIS), a Salesforce-based platform that helps enable our work across the organization.

In this role, you will customize and maintain the platform, support users, improve workflows, and help turn business needs into practical system solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, analysts, and internal users to enhance system functionality, maintain data quality, and ensure the platform continues to operate effectively and securely.

What you'll do

  • Support & Optimize the CIS Platform
  • Provide day-to-day support to internal CIS users, helping them navigate the platform and troubleshoot issues.
  • Customize the CIS platform to meet organizational needs, including creating and maintaining fields, page layouts, workflows, and other configuration changes.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and updates, ensuring the platform continues to run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Perform regular platform maintenance and help proactively identify and resolve application-related issues
  • Partner on Enhancements & Solutions
  • Participate in system enhancement projects and work with stakeholders, analysts, and users to gather requirements and provide technical input on solutions.
  • Help bridge business needs and technical capabilities by identifying practical system improvements that solve business problems.
  • Troubleshoot issues and develop solutions that address underlying causes.

Enable Users & Insights

  • · Train users and develop training materials and system documentation.
  • Create and manage reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Support strong adoption of the system through clear documentation and user guidance
  • Maintain Data Quality & Security
  • Help maintain CIS data quality and work with internal data specialists on data cleansing, importing, and exporting tasks.
  • Ensure the security of the Salesforce environment by managing user permissions, roles, and profiles.
  • Maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials.

What will help you succeed?

  • · Strong understanding of Salesforce platform features and functionality.
  • · Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes, including Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports.
  • · Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security, including roles, profiles, permission sets, organization-wide defaults, and sharing rules.
  • · Experience gathering and documenting requirements, solving problems, and proposing technical solutions.
  • · Experience in training users and developing training materials and system documentation.
  • · Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
  • · Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • · Outstanding attention to detail and strong time and project management skills.
  • · Excellent knowledge of PC environments, software, hardware, and changing technologies.
  • · Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • · Ability to quickly learn new content areas and skills.

Education & Certifications

  • · University degree, university diploma, or community college diploma in business, computer science, computer information systems, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • · Minimum of five (5) years' experience working in an administrative role on the Salesforce platform.
  • · Any Salesforce Administrator or other Salesforce certifications would be considered an asset.

In the first week, expect to:

  • · Meet with your manager, key stakeholders, and internal CIS users to understand current priorities, pain points, and how the platform supports day-to-day work.
  • · Get oriented to EfficiencyOne's Customer Information System environment, user groups, security model, and current system configuration.
  • · Review existing documentation, reports, dashboards, workflows, and open issues to build a strong understanding of the platform.
  • · Begin learning current support processes, enhancement priorities, and any in-flight system changes or projects.

In the first month, expect to:

  • · Become familiar with the business processes supported by the CIS platform and how different teams use Salesforce to manage their work.
  • · Start providing day-to-day user support, resolving routine issues, and helping users navigate the system more effectively.
  • · Contribute to configuration updates, reporting needs, and documentation improvements based on business and user requirements.
  • · Build working relationships with stakeholders, analysts, and internal data specialists to support data quality, reporting, and enhancement work.

In the first three months, expect to:

  • · Take ownership of core administrative responsibilities within the CIS platform, including user support, security administration, reporting, and routine maintenance activities.
  • · Identify opportunities to improve workflows, system usability, and data quality, and begin supporting or implementing enhancements.
  • · Contribute meaningfully to system enhancement initiatives by helping gather requirements, document solutions, and support implementation activities.
  • · Establish yourself as a trusted resource for users and stakeholders by providing responsive support, practical solutions, and clear documentation.
