We are currently hiring for a Manager, Continuous Improvement in the Environment, Health & Safety Department. This is a new role within Halifax Water.

As a Manager, Continuous Improvement, you will:

  • Operate with a high degree of professional autonomy.
  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and regular compliance.
  • Advise senior leadership by analyzing complex issues and delivering clear recommendations.
  • Implement standardized continuous improvement tools and methods across the organization.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment on complex or high-risk challenges.
  • Build strong partnerships to advance continuous improvement and organizational resilience.

To do this job, you need to have:

  • A post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in continuous improvement, compliance, governance, or organizational effectiveness within a regulated, public-sector, or complex enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing and leading cross-functional improvement initiatives.
  • Proven experience supporting or advising senior leadership
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
