Job Title: Mechanical Assembler (General Labour)

Location: Oakville, ON (Winston Park Drive)

Salary: $23.00/hour + benefits after 3 months

Shift: Monday - Friday, Days (8am - 4:30pm)

Job Type: Permanent Hire

Our client manufactures custom exhaust fans and venting systems. Successful candidates will have assembly experience (mechanical or electrical) and be comfortable following blueprints. This is a permanent opportunity with opportunities for advancement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to assemble custom exhaust fans and related equipment.
• Safely operate drills, hand tools, and power tools to complete assembly and production tasks.
• Perform basic electrical wiring and install/connect electrical components.
• Inspect completed products and test components to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Use computer systems to access and review blueprints, work orders, and production documentation.
• Complete general labour duties, including occasional forklift operation (training provided).
• Provide support to production and warehouse operations and assist with other assigned tasks as required.

Candidate Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar assembly/manufacturing role is required
• Experience using hand/power tools and a drill
• Proven ability to interpret and follow blueprints for accurate assembly and wiring
• Strong attention to detail, reliable, and organized
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Able to safely lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
• Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
