Job Type: Temporary ongoing with the opportunity to go permanent
Location: Kingston, ON
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday | Rotating shifts required (8:00am-4:30pm and 2:00pm-10:30pm)
Pay Rate: $19.00/ hr

We are currently hiring a Production Associate to support wire and cable operations in a busy warehouse/manufacturing environment. This role involves measuring, cutting, and preparing cable orders for shipment. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize cable by size and type
• Measure and cut wire/cable to specified lengths based on order requirements
• Strip insulation and remove outer casing as needed
• Package and prepare completed orders for shipping
• Follow work instructions and production schedules
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or general labour role is an asset
• Comfortable using basic math for measurements and accuracy
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots required
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Criminal background check required
