Position Scope:
This position reports directly to the Shipping and Receiving Department Head and is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive weekly schedule for sales orders to ensure the timely delivery of products to international customers. This involves collaborating closely with ocean brokers to secure booking numbers, selecting the most appropriate vessels for shipment, and performing monthly reviews of freight rates to ensure pricing accuracy. As a central point of contact, the Facilitator must communicate effectively with various internal departments and select customers to maintain operational alignment. Success in this position requires a high degree of precision in managing documentation and the ability to solve complex logistical problems quickly and effectively to keep the supply chain moving smoothly.
Qualification & Experience:
- A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field would be considered an asset
- Previous experience would be considered an asset
- Strong computer literacy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
