Summary

The Senior Consultant of DTC Upsell & Revenue Growth is responsible for driving incremental value across the subscriber lifecycle by identifying, executing, and optimizing upsell and cross-sell opportunities. This role owns the development and performance of monetization strategies that increase ARPU, conversion, and customer lifetime value. Reporting to the Sr Manager, DTC Acquisition & Upsell, this individual will be the expert on DTC upsell, designing data-driven programs that encourage subscribers to upgrade plans, purchase add-ons, and deepen engagement with our core DTC services (Crave, TSN, RDS, Starz).

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Upsell Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

  • Define and own the end-to-end upsell strategy across core DTC offerings, including standalone services, bundles, and add-ons
  • Identify high-impact upsell opportunities across free and paid consumer segments, working to increase ARPU, tenure and engagement
  • Develop a prioritization framework for upsell initiatives based on revenue potential, feasibility, and customer impact
  • Optimize messaging, timing, and channel mix across all customer touchpoints (email, push, in-app, partner channels)

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with CRM and Data teams to deploy highly personalized, behavior-based upsell campaigns based on engagement, tenure, content affinity, and price sensitivity
  • Collaborate with Product teams to build new features and test user journeys that maximize conversions while prioritizing customer experience
  • Partner with Retention teams to balance monetization with churn risk and long-term engagement

Analytics & Reporting

  • Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor performance of core KPIs
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify opportunities and gaps
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership
Critical Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 – 8+ years of experience in growth, lifecycle marketing, strategy or consulting
  • Proven experience driving revenue through upsell, cross-sell, or lifecycle optimization
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortability with executive-level communication
  • Experience with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, cohort analysis)
  • Track record of cross-functional leadership in a highly matrixed organization

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
