Job Overview

The candidate we are looking for will be involved in general construction and demolition labor duties including site preparation, material handling, debris removal, and safe operation of hand and power tools. This includes maintaining clean and organized worksites while following safety procedures and supporting efficient project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general construction and demolition labour duties, including clay tamping, concrete removal, and pipe installation.
• Safely operate hand tools and equipment such as plate tampers, jumping jacks, cutoff saws, and road saws.
• Assist with site preparation, material handling, debris removal, and maintaining a clean and organized worksite.
• Follow project instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently under supervisor direction.
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Support team operations by demonstrating reliability, strong attendance, and a positive work ethic.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards or equipment concerns on-site.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Previous construction or demolition experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to perform physically demanding labour and lift heavy materials throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in outdoor and active construction environments.
• Strong ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Mandatory PPE: Hard Hat, High-Visibility Vest, and Steel-Toe Boots.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
