Job Title: Human Resources Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $21.00 /hr
This role involves supporting Human Resources operations through recruitment coordination, administrative support, and maintaining organized employee records and documentation. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail oriented, possess strong computer skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
• Recruitment: post job ads, review applicant resumes, pre-screen candidates, conduct reference checks
• Verify safety/training certificates and assess candidate competencies
• Onboarding of crew- contracts signing, orientations, facilitating training, and documentation within the recruitment and training management system
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Previous administrative or Human Resources experience considered an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong data entry and computer skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management and problem solving skills
